Black History Month – October events

October is Black History Month (BHM) and we have a whole host of events to get involved in – see a full listing of what’s on in Haringey and online here.

BHM generates more focus throughout October, however Haringey’s Black communities have made, and continue to make, a significant contribution to all aspects of life in Haringey, London and the UK.  We’ve captured these contributions through our Black History Haringey 365 webpages where you will find crafts, learning, quizzes, and 600 years of Haringey’s Black history.

There’s also Listen, Watch and Read, helping you explore books and films on black history and culture and by black authors and directors.

Keep an eye on @haringeycouncil on Twitter and our Facebook pages for a range of content during Black History Month, or check our listings on the website www.haringey.gov.uk.
