Noel Park Primary School
The application deadline is 15 January 2019 and the offer day will be 16 April 2019.
Please can you remind parents/carers with children in your nursery (where applicable) to apply on time and also to alert families with children already on roll who have younger siblings. We have a small number of families every year who forget to make a reception application for their second or subsequent child or a Junior transfer application for their infant school child. With your help and support in publicising these deadlines and the imperative of making an on-time application we can minimise the number of families who don’t secure a school place at one of their preferred schools.
Preferences
We will let you know how many reception preferences you have received (including from those applicants resident outside Haringey) on 8 February 2019. If you would like to know how many applicants have applied online (not on paper) you can find this out now by logging on to the online admissions system (external link)
On 8 February 2019, we will also send you a list to verify sibling applications (community and voluntary controlled schools only) or send you a full list of applicants to rank in the order of your admissions criteria (academies and voluntary aided schools only). It is very important that you return these lists by no later than 25 February 2019 to ensure that we are able to meet our PAN London deadlines.
Offers
We will send you a final offer list before 16 April 2019. After offer day we will continue to send you updated lists as places are declined and new offers are made.
For any queries on any of the above, please contact Lynne Tighe, Lynne.Tighe@haringey.gov.uk (Reception) or Imogen Rush, Imogen.Rush@haringey.gov.uk (Junior).
Kind regards,

The Governors of Eden Primary School are consulting on changes to their admission arrangements for entry in September 2020.
The change is that priority 4 (after siblings), ‘Children of founding directors’ has been removed from the arrangements and replaced by ‘Children of Eden primary staff where the member of staff has been employed at the school for a period of two or more years…’ This is to help with recruitment and retention of staff and is common practice amongst other similar schools.
You will find details of the proposed arrangements on the Eden website at www.edenprimary.org.
Those wishing to respond to the consultation should write to the Governors at the school address or email andrea@edenprimary.org.uk

Dear Headteacher and Chair of Governors,

PLEASE REMIND PARENTS THEY CAN APPLY ONLINE NOW at www.eadmissions.org.uk
The online application process for children starting school in September 2019 opened on 1 September 2018. The number of parents choosing to apply online is rising every year as is the number of Haringey residents who have access to the internet.
Please help us by offering IT facilities at your school and promoting online applications. A member of the admissions team will be happy to attend your Reception or Secondary Transfer meetings to talk to parents about the application process. Please contact Lynne Tighe or Marion Smylie if you haven’t already done so – we are available to attend both morning and evening meetings.
Please note we will NOT be delivering printed booklets to schools this year. Parents will be directed to view our digital viewbook online and also signposted to the viewbooks whilst applying for a school application via the e-admissions website (external link). The Secondary admissions viewbook also includes information on the secondary school open events.

Please see the DFE guide to submitting census data (external link)
The October census is fast approaching and we want to ensure that you have the maximum number of pupils on roll to maximise your funding. Please help us by continuing to provide your weekly vacancy information.
Please email your roll returns to lynee.tighe@haringey.gov.uk (Primary) or taj.buljihoo@haringey.gov.uk (Secondary).
A small number of schools have not provided this data on a regular basis and we will be contacting these schools separately to request this.
