Haringey has produced videos promoting our Free for 2s campaign in several languages. Watch the videos to see what a typical learning and fun day is like for a two-year-old.
Haringey was awarded an early years grant from The Mayor of London for our innovative Volunteer Peer Networkers Project, which encourages dads from Turkish, Kurdish and Somali communities to raise awareness of and take up in the free early learning offer for two-year-olds. Data has shown that children from these communities could be faring better in their early years.
The videos are designed to support outreach and administrative staff to overcome language barriers and for parents – particularly dads, to see for themselves what early learning looks like.
We would very much appreciate feedback on the video for reporting purposes. We are particularly keen to learn whether the video is helping those registered to offer FF2 places to communicate with parents and whether parents/dads have been encouraged to apply as a result of watching the video?
Please can you send any feedback you may have to: Serife (Sherry) Ibrahim serife.ibrahim@haringey.gov.uk
