Health and Safety – revised documentation
The Corporate Health and Safety Team has reviewed the Schools Health and Safety Policy and the Educational Visits Procedure. We have also created the Managing Radioactive Substances in Schools Procedure. These documents will be discussed and approved (with amendments as necessary) in the next Corporate Health, Safety and Wellbeing Board on 12 November 2019. Once approved they will be uploaded in the Communication section of the Traded Services Website/Health and Safety for Schools module.
Welcome to our new Health and Safety Adviser
I am very pleased to inform you that the team has a new Health and Safety Adviser, Andrew Turton (Andrew.turton@haringey.gov.uk, 020 8489 3215). Andrew will be carrying out the school’s Health and Safety audits for those of you who buy into our Health and Safety for schools SLA.
