North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is looking for interested young people to help them with an exciting new project – North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Young Mentors!
Young Mentors are aged 14 to 21 and live in the North Central London areas of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington.
Young Mentors will help senior decision makers evaluate and improve health services in their local area.
Their role will last for 10 months, they will get AQA accredited training and will be supported to work as part of a team of young people from North Central London.
The Young Mentors will:
- work with senior decision makers from the NHS in North Central London to make their health programmes the best they can be
- help solve BIG business challenges
- make a difference for other young people in their area
As a team, they will work together to ask the tough questions, problem solve and build their leadership, communication and team work skills.
We would be really grateful if you could share this exciting opportunity with young people who would benefit from this incredible opportunity. We’re particularly interested in reaching young people who have lived experiences of healthcare, this could be visiting their doctor, going to a pharmacy or accessing mental health services.
