KS1_results_day_upload_guide_June18_V1
For many years, schools have requested earlier access to their results data. This makes sense as we ourselves have long argued that early access to data can lead to quicker actions and improved outcomes for children and young people. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that for the first time this year, FFT are offering a free 2018 KS1 early results analysis service to all Aspire Infant and Primary schools.
Between now and 29 June 2018, schools will be able to upload their KS1 pupil results to Aspire* using a simple Excel template. From 12 July, schools will then be able to download a provisional 2018 KS1 PDF report for their school. This will include:
- An early analysis of 2018 KS1 Teacher Assessment AND scaled score results
- Comparative national analysis (based on other FFT schools taking part).
- Whole school, pupil group and subject-specific reports.
- Early ‘EYFS to KS1 value added progress’ analysis using FFT estimates.
- Early KS2 estimates for Year 3 pupils at the start of September
What we have done so far
- Aspire has been updated with a new KS1 upload page. Whilst the upload process is relatively simple, we have included full step-by-step instructions on the website along with a PDF guide (attached to this email) and a YouTube help video.
- An FFT email has just been sent to all Infant and Primary Aspire users to inform them of the service.
- We have created a KS1 results service information page on fft.org.uk.
How can you help?
This is a free service to all Aspire schools and the feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Our greatest challenge is making sure that schools know about the service as quickly as possible. We would be tremendously grateful if you could help us by letting your schools know about this year’s KS1 early results service via email, newsletters, meetings or any other appropriate channels.
Further help for schools
For any schools struggling to upload their pupil results, the FFT support team are on hand to take them through the process. They can be contacted by emailing support@fft.org.uk or by telephoning 01446 776262, option one.
Notes
- Only Aspire users with Head teacher/Senior leader or Data Manager account access can upload KS1 pupil results.
- This facility is available on the main FFT website (via the cog icon at the top of the screen), NOT the FFT administration site
