Families can take to the streets or head to their local park for some free and fun outdoor play sessions as part of Haringey’s Weekend of Play, which is taking place at the beginning of May half-term over bank holiday weekend.
Various primary schools will be launching the weekend with their own play events on the afternoon of Friday 24 May. Then voluntary and community organisations will be hosting a range of activities across the whole weekend.
There is still time for schools to organise their own play event on Friday 24 May and apply for a £200 grant to cover any costs.

The Weekend of Play is supported by the Haringey Obesity Alliance, which aims to tackle childhood obesity through play.
