Pupils at Risley Avenue Primary School held a Live Your Best Life ceremony to commemorate the life of the late Stephen Lawrence, unveiling a memorial in the school grounds to pay tribute. There was a short programme of events, including singing, acting and a piano recital, before a statue – designed by local young people – was unveiled.
Haringey Sixth Form College also attended the Live Your Best Life ceremony, along with Haringey Council’s Deputy Mayor,
Cllr Sheila Peacock, Haringey Sixth Form College’s Principal and CEO Russ Lawrance, the winning sculpture designer Rashailah O'Connor and collaborative creative artist Jordan Dowden.
