Anchor Approach Assembly packs to support Resilience & Wellbeing – complimentary to all Haringey primary schools and to be delivered in the coming weeks
A set of assemblies have been written and developed by Haringey’s Anchor Approach team with the aim of supporting schools to develop children’s understanding of their own resilience, wellbeing, and mental health. They will introduce children to the idea that there are things that we all can do to help us feel happier and more able to manage the ups and downs of life. They are evidence-based, following the principles of Traditional Cultures research. For more information and resources go to: www.haringey.gov.uk/anchor
The packs have been designed to support schools to meet the government’s drive for a whole school approach to resilience, wellbeing and mental health and greatest benefit, in terms of whole school approach, will therefore be gained by schools linking with the wider elements of Haringey’s Anchor Approach. The pack can, however, still be used by schools not yet engaging with other aspects of the Anchor Approach and have been created with this in mind.
Please look out for the packs, which will be delivered to all primary schools in the coming weeks by the ‘All Good Bookshop’, Turnpike Lane. They will be delivered in a silver bag with Anchor Approach logo (see image below) and addressed to the Head Teacher & Emotional Wellbeing Lead.
