From acting to arts and crafts, skateboarding to Taekwondo-do, Haringey is putting on or supporting dozens of exciting activities for children and young people across the borough this summer. The council has teamed up with local schools, sports clubs, parks and arts venues to pull together an action-packed programme designed to keep young people and children entertained during the long summer break.
Copies of Summer Fun 2019 v2will be delivered to all schools in Haringey in the next few days. We have enough copies for you to be able to distribute it to every primary school aged child in Haringey, as well as plenty of copies for secondary schools.
This year’s programme is a bumper edition and we are delighted to be able to offer even more activities for young people to enjoy. This year’s highlights include week-long sports camps and many hands-on activities such as jewellery making and cooking; high-energy activities including boxing, dance and swimming; creative sessions such as filmmaking and art, and lots of other activities.
Many events are free or for a small fee, and many don’t even need to be booked – you can just turn up on the day and get involved.
You’ll find all the details in this guide, including times, dates and locations, as well as information on how to book where necessary, and whether any fee applies.
Please can you circulate this as widely as possible.
