Haringey’s Community Carbon Fund is now open to applications – inviting community groups (including schools) to submit project ideas to tackle the climate emergency.
Launched by the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for the Environment, Transport and the Climate Emergency, Cllr Mike Hakata, the local authority’s Community Carbon Fund is offering grants to local organisations who want to start or expand decarbonisation projects in the borough, with grants of up to £50,000 available for ideas to reduce carbon emissions.
Applications can be submitted online or emailed to carbonmanagementteam@haringey.gov.uk before midnight on Friday January 7 2022. For more information, attend our Q&A events on Wednesday 17 November and Wednesday 8 December.
