Dear Head teachers
You will be aware that a Restructure and Scrutiny Panel was set up within the local authority from 1 September 2017 to look at all proposals for restructures, as well as to consider applications for licensed deficits and applications for schools in financial difficulty.
Now that the panel has been in operation for a year, we are seeking feedback from all head teachers who have made an application to the panel. However, I am conscious that some of you have considered using the panel but, for various reasons, have not done so.

I expect to send a report to Schools Forum in September 2018 on the work of the panel in its first year and the feedback we have received as part of this survey.
