Unity Xtra Vax Chat continues this Wednesday 3 November

Haringey Council is working in partnership with Unity Xtra Radio to deliver a series of live radio programmes called Vax Chat that aims to engage with young people in Haringey and help answer some of their questions or concerns around vaccination.

The series continues this Wednesday from 6-8pm with a show focusing on:

Changes in the COVID-19 virus – How effective are current vaccines against the new variants? How important are young people in stopping the spread? How will new variants affect people if they don’t get vaccinated?

Junior doctors will be answering questions and explaining the facts and the fiction around COVID-19, enabling young people to make an informed choice about vaccination.

With cases of COVID-19 in England at their highest since January, and a lower uptake particularly amongst younger residents, it is more important than ever that young people get protected to limit transmission in our communities.

What you can do:

Please spread the word about Vax Chat and this important opportunity for young people to get their questions answered and get accurate information about COVID-19 vaccination.  Look out for social media posts about the shows across @HaringeyCouncil’s platforms.
