PDF documents
Not all PDFs are created in an accessible way with clear structure, headings and links.
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.

This statement was first prepared on 13 July 2023.
The statement was revised following a manual and automated WCAG 2.2 accessibility audit of a set of pages which use the different templates on the site. The audit was carried out by Invuse in March 2024.
Initial fixes were applied by Annertech and a re-test of these issues carried out on 31 May 2024.
This statement will be updated when outstanding issues have been addressed, and the site will be monitored regularly using automated tools including SiteImprove.
The fix for WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A): iFrame title attribute missing on some pages was added September 2024.
Another full audit is scheduled for April 2026.
