You are invited to a celebration of African and Caribbean Culture!
Indoor Market – Arts, crafts, face painting, jewellery, fashion, books community services and African and Caribbean cuisine and more!
Workshops and performances – Djembe drumming, storytelling, African dance, poetry, spoken word, etymology and visual arts.
More than an exhibition and trade space, The African Market is a place of curiosity attracting an eclectic mix of people. It is a place of exchange of ideas, of practices, of communication, a gathering. A place where you can quench your taste buds with fine African and Caribbean Food, whilst discovering who your neighbours are and what they do.
