You don’t have to give up work to foster! Many foster parents continue to work, so they can enjoy the best of both worlds.
Foster Care Fortnight 2025
This May, we're celebrating Foster Care Fortnight (FCF) from 11 to 25 of the month. FCF is a nationwide effort to raise awareness of the incredible impact of foster care, and to invite residents to consider fostering.
Upcoming FCF events:
- Fostering Taster Event – Alexandra House: 12 May, 6.45pm to 7.45pm
- Wood Green Library drop-ins: 13, 15, 20 and 22 May, 11am to 2pm
- Chat with a carer – online session: 20 May, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
- Online Information Session: 22 May, 6.30pm to 7pm
Fostering information sessions at Triangle Family Hub
Triangle Family Hub is hosting information sessions for those interested in fostering. These sessions offer a chance to put those burning fostering questions to our fostering manager in an informal setting.

Online fostering information session and Q&A
If you're interested in becoming a foster carer but have questions about the fostering process, join us online at one of our fostering information and Q&A sessions!
Take part from the comfort of your home (just pop the kettle on!) or on-the-go, and chat with a representative from our fostering service.
The next session will take place online on Microsoft Teams on:

Drop-in sessions at North Middlesex University Hospital
If you would like a chat with a fostering representative from our service, pop along to the North Middlesex University Hospital to have a face to face conversation on the topic. You can talk about anything you want to - it's a great way to have an informal chat to see if fostering would suit you and to find out about the support on offer.
