Parent Support Group for CAMHS Autism/ADHD Waiting List

This 6-week online group is for parents and carers whose young people (aged 11-16) are on the CAMHS Autism or ADHD assessment waiting list. 

The programme aims to help parents better understand potential Autism and ADHD, offer practical management strategies, prepare for the assessment process, and provide a focus on parental well-being and peer support.

This group is open to parents from Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. 

NCL Parents in Mind are open for referrals.

Step Into Tomorrow: Thriving with Cerebral Palsy

Join us for Step Into Tomorrow: Thriving with Cerebral Palsy (CP) — a vibrant, inclusive event designed for children, young people, and adults with cerebral palsy, along with their families, carers, and professionals.

This day is all about connection, inspiration, and possibility. We’re celebrating individual strengths, personal journeys, and self-expression — while offering practical tools, relatable role models, and a supportive space to explore what’s possible across all stages of life with CP.

Special Educational Needs (SEN) support in schools for children without an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)

Online session: Tuesday 30 September, 1pm to 2pm.

Join Haringey's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Services (SENDIASS) for an explanation of the law covering the duties of schools to identify and meet the special educational needs of children who do not have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

We will also provide an overview of Haringey's guidance to schools on what they are expected to provide from their resources.

Youth club for Autistic young people aged 11-16

Our club, hosted by Haringey’s Language and Autism Support Team is a safe, welcoming space for Autistic young people to make friends, build confidence, and have fun.

The Gaming Connection: For autistic 14-19-year-olds in Haringey mainstream schools

Join the fun! Our Gaming Connection club is hosted by John, a specialist support worker from Haringey’s Language and Autism Support Team. Stay connected through our Discord server, where you can chat, share links, and join streams.

This online club is open to Haringey residents in mainstream schools aged 14-19 with an autism diagnosis. We meet online every Wednesday during term time from 4pm to 5pm.

We also get together in person half-termly at Rising Green Youth Hub, 2A Lymington Ave, London N22 6JA. Join the fun!
